Sono ingegnere informatico, dottorando all'università di Firenze nel dipartimento di Elettronica e Telecomunicazioni. Per lavoro quindi mi occupo di tecnologie, in particolare di sicurezza delle reti, per interesse mi piace sconfinare negli aspetti sociali legati al copyright ed al software libero. Qui trovate qualche informazione in più, qui alcune presentazioni che ho fatto ultimamente.

I’ve chosen not to spend much more effort on the matchbox keyboard, since it seems quite unamendable. On the other side the Qtextended predictive keyboard is nice to see and more rich of features. The patch was quite [...] As I did for Qtopia, I’ve recompiled my un-predictive keyboard for qt-extended-improved. It is a patched version of the matchbox keyboard that comes with Qt but it’s unusable without a stylus.I’ve changed the layout from last time I touched it : I found out how to suppress the hints bar, that never had any real use [...] This keeps working even with Gutsy Gibbon, withouth recompilation. Just watch out for the following: Kalendar must be not running when syncing GPE PIM sync GPE PIM is a suit of calendar/contatcs (and more) application for nokia 770, which natively lacks one.
